Walking is a great way to get active and learn about local wildlife. Come and join Mandy from Naturally Social between 10:00am and 12:00pm on Wednesday 27th March as we look for signs of Spring around Dipton.
Meet in the car park beside the Keepers cafe in Dipton (DH9 9AB) Don’t forget to wear sturdy shoes and pack your waterproof!
Based around conservation sites in Consett, Stanley and the Derwent Reservoir, Naturally Social aims to address individual people’s mental and physical well-being through engagement with nature.
Through a programme of weekly group activities, volunteers will be supported by the Naturally Social team as they find connections in the natural world. This is not only to the benefit of mental and physical wellbeing but also to local wildlife.
If you think that the Naturally Social project could be of benefit to you or someone you know, please get in touch with Mandy on firstname.lastname@example.org or 0191 584 3112
