Embrace the warmth, colour and sounds of early spring on a short 1 mile walk through the beautiful Edmondsley Wood nature reserve. It’s a good time of year to get to know some of our woodland bird species as the trees are still mostly bare which makes them easier to spot! There is always a chance of spotting deer and some early woodland plants are starting to show. There are no facilities on site and the footpaths can be very muddy so please bring wellies.
Dogs allowed on a lead.
Meet in the small car park situated 800 metres east of Edmondsley crossroads on the minor road to Holmside.
