Home Ed (Age 11-16): Nocturnal Animals @ Rainton Meadows | England | United Kingdom

17th September – Nocturnal Animals
We will be learning all about the wild creatures which come out and explore Rainton Meadows at night! We will discover how their adaptations and senses help them to navigate, hunt and survive in the dark.

If you dare, come back in the evening for a special Home Education only Bat Walk! Please see the Home Ed Evening Bat Walk ‘What’s On’ page for more details and to book your place.

Monthly activities throughout the year to engage curious young minds and equip future nature scientists with the tools they need to enjoy, investigate and protect our world. We meet on the 3rd Tuesday of the Month from 12.30pm – 2.30pm, £4 per child. Activities are aimed at ages 11- 16 years.

The sessions are delivered in line with the John Muir Award; throughout the year there will be opportunities to achieve the four elements of the award: discover, explore, conserve and share. Durham Wildlife Trust can administer your award for you for an additional £3/child.
