Tracks and Trails: What’s out and about at Low Barns?
This month we will be heading out to look for animal tracks and other clues and evidence of wildlife, as well as making our own prints and tracks in a craft activity.
Monthly activities throughout the year to engage curious young minds and equip future nature scientists with the tools they need to enjoy, investigate and protect our world. We meet on the 3rd Thursday of the Month from 10am– 12pm, £4 per child. Activities are aimed at ages 5- 10 years, children must be accompanied by an adult. Please wear suitable outdoor clothing and footwear. Booking is essential.
The sessions are delivered in line with the John Muir Award; throughout the year there will be opportunities to achieve the four elements of the award: discover, explore, conserve and share. Durham Wildlife Trust can administer your award for you for an additional £3/child.
