Join us for a winter celebration! We will be learning about the birds which choose to spend the winter at Low Barns, as well as doing a bit of bird watching and making some wooden crafts and gifts.
Monthly activities throughout the year to engage curious young minds and equip future nature scientists with the tools they need to enjoy, investigate and protect our world. We meet on the 3rd Thursday of the Month from 10.00am– 12.00pm, £4 per child. Activities are aimed at ages 5- 11 years, children must be accompanied by an adult. Please wear suitable outdoor clothing and footwear. Booking is essential.
The sessions are delivered in line with the John Muir Award; throughout the year there will be opportunities to achieve the four elements of the award: discover, explore, conserve and share. Durham Wildlife Trust can administer your award for you for an additional £3/child.
