This month we will be learning how to identify bumblebees, including identifying males, females and worker bees.
Monthly activities throughout the year to engage curious young minds and equip future nature scientists with the tools they need to enjoy, investigate and protect our world. We meet on the 3rd Tuesday of the Month from 12.30pm– 2.30pm, £4 per child. Activities are aimed at ages 11- 16 years. Children do not need to be accompanied by an adult, you can drop off and pick up if you like.
Please wear suitable outdoor clothing and footwear. Booking is essential.
The sessions are delivered in line with the John Muir Award; throughout the year there will be opportunities to achieve the four elements of the award: discover, explore, conserve and share. Durham Wildlife Trust can administer your award for you for an additional £3/child.
