For our final Home Education session of the 2018/19 academic year, we will be spending the morning on the beach celebrating our achievements. There will be a sandcastle building competition and rock pool safari, so book your place and we’ll sea you there!
If your child has been working towards achieving the John Muir award and would like to receive their certificate at the celebration event, please fill in the Four Challenge Review document and email it to firstname.lastname@example.org by Monday 1st July, the document can be found on this website: https://www.johnmuirtrust.org/john-muir-award/key-documents
Please ensure that your child has sun cream, a hat and wellies or suitable footwear.
Monthly activities throughout the year to engage curious young minds and equip future nature scientists with the tools they need to enjoy, investigate and protect our world. We meet on the 3rd Tuesday of the Month from 10am – 12pm. £4/ child. Activities are aimed at ages 5- 11 years, children must be accompanied by an adult.
The sessions are delivered in line with the John Muir Award; throughout the year there will be opportunities to achieve the four elements of the award: discover, explore, conserve and share. Durham Wildlife Trust can administer your award for you for an additional £3/child.
