Name that plant - easy identification for beginners @ Online
A chance to learn the names of some common wildplants that are in flower now and to know how to identify others that you may find later.

The training session is aimed at beginners – you need no prior knowledge.

It is a mixture of short video clips, live guidance from two trainers – Steve Gater and Julia Quinonez – on what to look for to identify a wildplant, suggestions on simple guidebooks and equipment and places to visit.

Questions are encouraged and after the event there will be an opportunity to share pictures of plants so that they can be named.

In order to join this event you will need either a PC (with speakers and webcam) or a laptop or large tablet, connected to the internet. We will be using an online tool called Zoom.

If you have not used Zoom before then this video explains what to do to join

You can also join this test meeting at anytime to ensure you are set up correctly.
