Durham Wildlife Trust, in partnership with the Upper Teesdale Botany Group, invites you to a workshop to learn about The natural history of Upper Teesdale project. Funding has generously been provided by The Heritage Lottery Fund to support this project that includes a rewrite of ‘The natural history of Upper Teesdale’ book, last published in 2003. The new, 5th, edition will be available in spring 2018. The new book will inform a series of guided walks and talks in spring / summer 2018 and work with local schools.
Upper Teesdale has such a rich and striking landscape that the book, walks and talks will explore and celebrate. As the book is being revised we wish to collect your suggestions for stories, comments and reflections. Each workshop will explain what the project is about and encourage you to contribute. So please drop in to one of the workshops, when you can, to discover more about this project, the wonders of Upper Teesdale and to share your stories of life in this special part of County Durham.
