Watching For Water Voles

An online talk and presentation to learn how, where and what to look for to find Britain’s fastest declining mammal.

Kick start the weekend with our Heart of Durham Conservation Officer’s 30 minute crash course on water voles. Understand why they are decreasing at such an alarming rate and what is being done locally and nationally to save them. Learn about their habitat, where to look for them and how to identify signs. In order to join this event you will need either a PC (with speakers and webcam) or a laptop or large tablet, connected to the internet.

We will be using an online tool called Zoom.
