Low Barns Visitor has today reopened following essential repairs to a burst water pipe.
Visitors to the site can once again access the visitor centre, cafe and toilets. If you’re visiting this weekend please be sure to pop in and say hello to our volunteers on duty, we have certainly missed seeing all of you!
For information on opening house please visit this page.
When visiting this weekend be sure to pop up to the Northumbrian Water Hide where our new art installation is now in place. The project ‘Art in the Hide’ saw school children, visitors and the local community create art inspired by the nature reserve to be displayed on all new panels within the hide. The project, in partnership with Daisy Arts was funded by the County Durham Community Foundation and Arts Council England.
