Bird Detective Walk @ New Kyo | Annfield Plain | England | United Kingdom

Do you want to learn more about the birds in your local area? Join Mandy for a gentle stroll along the footpaths to see what we can find. You will be shown how to use binoculars and how to identify birds. Join Mandy at New Kyo at 10am on Wednesday 20th March.

Meet at the lay by on the A693 (DH9 7BZ). Don’t forget to wear sturdy shoes and pack your waterproof!

Based around conservation sites in Consett, Stanley and the Derwent Reservoir, Naturally Social aims to address individual people’s mental and physical well-being through engagement with nature.

Through a programme of weekly group activities, volunteers will be supported by the Naturally Social team as they find connections in the natural world. This is not only to the benefit of mental and physical wellbeing but also to local wildlife.

If you think that the Naturally Social project could be of benefit to you or someone you know, please email Mandy on: abelldurhamwt.co.uk for more details.
