During this 35 minute online event, Trustee Michael Coates will take you through a presentation covering

The basics of Odonata physiology and life cycle

  • Where to see them in the DWT region (once you can go out!)
  • How to spot them
  • Where to see them emerging (transforming from a nymph to a dragonfly)
  • How to identify the species you are most likely to see during May.
  • What field guide to buy or website to consult

In order to join this event you will need either a PC (with speakers and webcam) or a laptop or large tablet, connected to the internet. We will be using an online tool called Zoom (click on the link to watch an explanatory video).
