Darlington & Teesdale Naturalist’s Field Club members will walk a stretch of the Tees to see which plants are still in flower and identify as much wildlife as possible.

The Heritage Lottery Fund is generously supporting this project that aims to share an understanding and enjoyment of the unique natural history of Upper Teesdale.

This series of guided walks, each starting with a short talk to introduce the theme of the outing and how it fits into a wider understanding of the very special aspects of the Dale, is supported by local trained people. Meet at the Forest-in-Teesdale car park.

Each event is designed to engage people of all ages and no specialist knowledge is needed. Simply sign up for an event and come along to enjoy it. Places are limited to 12 and pre-booking is essential. For more information and to reserve a place please visit www.durhamwt.com/events
