A group for 14 - 18 year olds who wish to learn some practical conservation skills, improve ecological knowledge, and enjoy the outdoors.
About the event
This session of Conservation Rangers will be a Yuletide celebration including Christmas crafts and exploring the woodlands seasonal foliage.
Join this group of young volunteers and get some hands on experience of managing a nature reserve and recording the wildlife. You'll gain new skills and get involved in conservation tasks including surveying, planting and painting tasks during these sessions.
These volunteering hours can count towards a Duke of Edinburgh Award or can be recorded as work experience on your CV, plus you’re helping to do your bit for the environment!
Please dress for the weather and bring suitable waterproof clothing. Wear sturdy boots/footwear.

- Hand tool use
- Painting

- Grass cutting and raking
- Litter picking
