About the event

There is a varied programme of walks throughout the day to discover different species including wildflowers, dragonflies, mini-beasts, birds, trees amphibians and reptiles. Visitors can sign up to walks on the day and plan the event.  

There will be crafts, quizzes, self-guided trails and information stands to find out more about Links with Nature and Elemore Park. There will be a registration point so please look out for Durham Wildlife Trust’s tent.  

ERIC will also be on hand to help us record everything we find.  

This is an outdoor event so please come prepared for all types of weather. The terrain about the park can be uneven and muddy so please wear sturdy shoes.  

Café and toilets on site. You are welcome to bring a picnic and drinks.
