International Women's Day: Women in conservation
On International Women's Day we would like to introduce you to some of the women from our great team who are working to protect wild spaces across the Durham Wildlife Trust patch. #WomenInConservation #IWD2022
Naturally Native Project Manager, Kelly Hollings. She’s leading a team of conservation officers to help restore water vole populations across the North East.
Laura Tedstone, our Heart of Durham Officer. The Heart of Durham Project is a joint project with Northumbrian Water that is working to restore areas of habitat to create landscapes where wildlife can thrive.
Hannah Smith, one of our ‘Rangers’ leaders. Hannah runs our groups for young volunteers (Young Rangers and Nature Rangers) and plays a vital role in inspiring the next generation of nature enthusiasts.
