About the event

Wildlife Watch: Adventure, craft and fun in the outdoors. Grown-ups can even join in too!

This session we will be going on a woodland wander.

We’ll find out why we need woods, see what’s so interesting about this habitat at this time of year and learn a bit about hibernation. *Please bring a small toy figure or animal to this session - plastic or wood is best as it may get muddy!

Meet inside at Rainton Meadows Visitor Centre. Wear suitable outdoor clothing: warm clothes, waterproofs and sturdy footwear such as boots or wellies. You can bring a hot/cold drink and snacks, although these are available at our cafe.

Members and non-members welcome. Booking is essential and children must be accompanied by a supervising adult. Tickets are only required for children. Please provide a contact telephone number when booking. As places are limited, if you are unable to attend, please email us so that we may offer the space to another participant.
