Dogs

Assistance dogs only

While dogs on leads are welcome on the reserve and inside the hide, due to the close confines we would suggest not bringing your dog to this event in case other guests are afraid or allergic to dogs.

Mobility

The Rainton Meadows hide is wheelchair accessible. From the car park at the rear of the visitor centre use a radar key to un-latch the kissing gate, this will enable the gate to fully open up. Once through the kidding gate, head left and follow the path round to the hide which is to the right of the first brown noticeboard.
If you would like to be escorted to the building please note this on your booking and Emily or Paul will meet you at the visitor centre at a pre-determined time.
A radar key can also be borrowed from the visitor centre shop.
