About the event

Durham Wildlife Trust is working with Elm Ridge to develop habitats in the woodland area of the church grounds.

We have made significant progress towards the goal of developing a section of the woodland to improve its ecological status and allow access to enjoy this.

Through volunteer task days and youth engagement initiatives, the group has developed a task force of volunteers to act as guardians for the grounds while at the same time helping to improve its habitats and access. We invite attendees to join the task force.

The meeting will provide an update, detailing the results of tasks leading to the establishment of a clearing from which parishioners and visitor can observe and enjoy the rich habitats in the area.

This session will led by Roy McDougall and Durham Wildlife Trust's John Hayton.
