About the event

Durham Wildlife Trust is partnering up with South Tyneside Council as part of a project to help renovate part of the Temple Park grounds.

The area will be having a rain garden installed, part of a wider piece of work to improve the rest of the area.

We are asking for support to help with clearing, weeding, foraging and planting - so all hands will be greatly appreciated!

There is no need for previous experience and resources will be available on the day. We just need your help for whatever time you can spare.

Please dress appropriately for outdoor activity for the weather on the day.
