Education and Learning: We love exploring wild places such as the fantastic woodlands at Low Barns, the butterfly grasslands at Rainton Meadows, the rocky shore habitat at the coast or the wild areas of your own school grounds. Wherever you are there is always somewhere to have a wonderful adventure with nature.

Adventure Schools will receive:

  • A wild day out at either Rainton Meadows Nature Reserve, Low Barns Nature Reserve, a location that fits your class topic, or at your school with activities linked to the national curriculum delivered by our experienced Education Team
  • As part of your confirmed booking package we will provide all the resources you need to facilitate your day's learning. 

A typical class visit will include:

  • 3 to 4 wildlife learning activities which could include: pond dipping, bug hunting, guided walks, animal and plant identification 
  • A lunch break with access to on site facilities 
  • Access to Wild Play area (Rainton Meadows only)
  • Access to our classrooms
  • On site cafe and gift shop for pocket money treats
