PLANS for the creation of an extended £38m Great North Fen on County Durham countryside have been described as “exciting” during a ceremony to launch the ambitious scheme.

The Discover Brightwater project is seeking contractors to help deliver the Great North Fen. See below for details. 

Durham Wildlife Trust has been shortlisted as part of LNER's Customer and Community Investment Fund, which means the Trust could secure funding of £50,000.
