The bird hide at Rainton Meadows Nature Reserve has been refurbished, thanks to the support of business group Bowmer and Kirkland.

This August, more than 70 wildlife supporters took part in our annual fun run at the Trust's headquarters, Rainton Meadows.

A WILDLIFE charity has launched the most ambitious fundraising appeal in its history to secure the future of a North-East nature reserve.

Access to Rainton Meadows is limited due to flooding.
